This post is to update my shoppers on Crystals4Cancer. In the past few months, I have not granted my business the amount of attention, hard work, and dedication that my customers and followers deserve. With a busy class schedule, an internship, extracurriculars, and other obligations, I have found it difficult to find time for C4C. With that being said, I have decided to take a break from the business until next fall. I’m finishing out the school year at UNC, and then I’ll be out of the country for much of the summer pursuing social entrepreneurship endeavors separate from C4C.

Launching and running Crystals4Cancer has taught me more than I could have ever imagined when I first started making jewelry for fun, and I’ve benefitted immensely from the many opportunities it has awarded me. It has undoubtedly played the largest role in helping me realize my career goals--business for a better cause.

I am going to take this summer to further pursue social enterprise work and reevaluate my approach to Crystals4Cancer. This is not the end, but merely a quick break; I hope to return in the fall with fresh ideas. I will still be shipping out any jewelry that’s currently on my site up until my travels this summer.

Thank you for reading, and most of all, thanks for supporting Crystals4Cancer!
